Tap @ Doll - Girona, Spain: Clear brown with a foamy head. Wet malt aroma with malty flavors. Smooth and easy to drink but I'm not a fan of the style, but it was free because the waiter messed up my order! Rhombic (149) - Elx, SPAIN - SEP 12, 2017
33cl. Pours dark amber with foamy white head. Aromas are plum-like, estery but subtle, fairly decent for a lager to be honest, but nothing otherworldly. Very good mouthfeel, malty, somewhat fruity, lager-hoppy finish; caramel, fairly dry but not too much. Medium body (for a lager, medium-full if compared to other macros), floral hops in finish are nice. Decent macro lager.

33 cl. bottle @ Home.
Aroma: very subtle aromas of sweet grains, unfermented grains, tin can. No hints of hop aromas. No hints of malt or toasted malts aromas. Hints of sulfur when swirled and warmed. Maybe very subtle hints of cabagge, metallic and cooked corn.
Appearance: totally clear. Amber-light orange/deep golden color with medium-high head thickness, medium-high retention and low-medium Brussels’ lacing. Foam made of very tiny bubbles. Slightly off-white white foam.
Taste: low to medium sweetness, low to medium bitterness, no sourness. Quite subtle flavors of malts, toasted malts, corn, grains, unfermented grains, alcohol, brown sugar, dark caramel. Very subtle bread crust nuances. Balance is on the sweet side at first but increasingly bitter toward the end. Alcohol level is noticeable through its flavor and warming effect on the throat.
Palate: light to medium body, watery to oily-silky texture, low carbonation, dry quite bitter finish of malts, toasted malts, brown sugar, alcohol, dark burnt caramel and some metallic nuances. Not much flavor here.
Overall: almost no aromas here and the ones noticeable are not very pleasant. Very subtle flavors too. Pretty one-dimensional. One layer of flavor. Quite boring. Not a beer to drink again. More of the usual mass-brewery non-sense. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 16, 2017

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 Donkerblond, licht amberkleurig. Mooie parelende witte schuimkraag. Caramel, mout, redelijk zoetig. Zacht van smaak. Medium carbonatie. Sowieso beter dan gewone pils maar zeker niet buitengewoon. Goede doordrinker.
