COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From 0.75 L bottle; pours hazy dark brown, very slightly reddish with a very small and fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma: dark bread, caramel and dark fruits as plum. The taste is medium sweet, malty with caramel, slightly bitter and recognizable alcoholic. Medium long and malty finish. Low carbonation, slightly creamy, yet thin and watery consistence with a medium body. It’s OK, but there a lot better (thicker and more complex Abbey beers).

Bottle sampled at yespr. Hazy chestnut brown with a small off white head. Nose has caramel, dark dried fruit, brown sugar. Flavour is fairly simple and malty; again with caramel, dark dried fruit and brown sugar, mild over ripe banana, roasted malt. Medium body, sweet with mild bitterness and warming alcohol. No big experience.
