3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I’m a rookie in this beer rating but here it goes. Found this putting together a pic a six didn’t realize it was a beer. Not your traditional beer. Aroma is somewhat strong defiantly lemon. Appearance: Color is a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that does not linger. Taste is of a strong but sweet lemonade and the finish has sort of a zing it. Palate: Medium bodied, sticky texture and a somewhat fizzy carbonation. The finish is has a abrupt bite to it. This has very little taste of traditional beer taste but overall a pleasant surprise. Think it would be better enjoyed in the summer rather then the winter.
From Brennans. Yellowish pour white head. Aroma has sweet fruits. Some citrus. Taste similar. Shrug, not bad.12.3 crossovert (13908) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 27, 2014
355ml bottle. Hazed brown/gold pour. Fizzy head that quickly disispates. Smell is sour lemon and sweet malt. Flavor is lemon, herbs, malt, caramel. It certainly is more beerlike than a mikes hard but I don’t know if I would take this over that when looking for alcoholic soda. maliaobama (1) - - APR 28, 2014 does not count
This is the best adult lemonade I’ve had outside of some really good Radlers in Germany.
This is sweet, but still has some lager-esque beer taste to it unlike Summer Shandy which just tastes like sugar. It’s still very sugary, but how are you going to get to Lemonade without sugar?
A lot of review seem to be holding that against this, but other than pouring a bottle of lager and a bottle of lemonade together you aren’t going to end up with something better in this sub-category.
It’s way more drinkable than the malt liquor lemonade drinks like Mikes.
This is my favorite beer in the summer now. Absolutely perfect on a summer Saturday afternoon. madvike (3301) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - APR 16, 2014
Bottle - Clear golden with a ring of off-white head. Nose is lemon, pear, and a whole bunch of cane sugar. Whoa daddy is this sweet. Taste is...damn. Balls. It’s sweet, but for me it’s not cloying. It’s got some lemon acidity that cuts it a bit, and a hint of honey, light yeastiness, and grainy malt in the background. Finishes a bit tart, with lemonade coming through a bit more. Overcarbonated, slick and thin. Yes, this sucker is REALLY sweet, but the Mountain Dew-swilling 10-year-old in me really likes it, too. This’d be a guilty pleasure for me if I allowed those. Dark yellow. Basically no head. Aroma is lemonade - lemon and sugar. Same flavor, some beer character in the finish. Crisp and refreshing. Sweet. Mild tartness. Surprisingly big body.

Has a nice lemon scent with a light cloudy golden color. Has a very sweet taste, refreshing for camping.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity. dekester1 (370) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2011
Poured a pale, cloudy light gold with a quickly fading head and lace. Aroma was of sweet lemonade with twingle of fruity malt. Taste was sweet lemonade initially and then slipped into a slight malt flavor with tangy finish. Hops seemed minimally present. Palate was average. Overall, I thought this was the lemonade equivalent of something similar to New Glarus Belgium Red (cherry). Very easy drinking and refreshing in the summer. jandd1983 (4577) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 23, 2011
It poured a light brownish color with a small white head. The aroma was very sweet lemon citrus. The taste was very lemony, like very sweet sugary alcoholic candy.
