12oz bottle pours a clear copper/orange with a huge khaki head. Sweet caramel and tootsie roll aroma. Sweet malt taste with some drying nuttiness and yeast. Not a bad Marzen, drinkable. theisti (4126) - Kansas, USA - JUL 17, 2015
12 oz bottle that was left behind at my parents house at some point. The pour is a clear copper brown with a one inch off white head. The aroma is sweet nut, earth malt and a bit of grass. The taste is the sweet malt, cereal grain, a bit of cardboard and grass towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with lower carbonation and the oldish finish. Bit dull, though I am sure this is pretty aged. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2014
12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Clear red orange color. Thin khaki head, that leaves nice thicker lace. Medium body. Good smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Nice full creamy mouthfeel. Light slick finish. Caramel, spicy malt. Some spicy peppery earthy hop to it, more malt driven flavor, though. Moderate bitter taste, light spicy edge to it. Light to moderate sweet. Pretty solid, enjoyable oktoberfest. Better than expected. Great with my dinner of course, but good to enjoy on it’s own, too. greenhorn1 (850) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Bottle. Nice beautiful red amber, little head. Not much aroma and flavor is a bit watered down. Astringent finish. Ok for style.

Pours a nice shade of amber with a huge tan head. Nose is hoppy with a hint of malt. Fairly creamy on the palate, the taste is a nice blend of caramelized malt with a light hop aftertaste. Some bread/yeast notes as well. A straight forward marzen that pairs well with grilled brats at any fall fest.

12oz to mini dimple. Mild malt aroma. Copper color. Biting carbonation. Bland flavor. Not sweet or bitter. Kinda watery.

Pretty fair to midlin’ ... pretty boring as Oktoberfest Marzen Styles go. Flavors are there, just not in any special way. Good yard beer. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, reddish-orange with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up odd, kinda funky fruity and floral notes with detergent and other fruity accents.. didn’t seem right. The flavor found sweet caramel and toasted grains at the core, with tart floral and leafy notes around.. finished tart with some residual sugars too. Lighter-bodied and grainy on the palate.. higher carbonation.. ok overall feel. madvike (3260) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Bottle - Lightly hazy caramel color with a thin foamy white head. Real pleasant smell--light toffee and toasted malt. Faint herbal hops. Taste is a bit buttery malt, lightly toasted with some mild nuttiness. Real faint hopping through the finish. A bit of biting carbonation, and fairly watery. Not bad for the style, but the taste doesn’t quite live up to the smell. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Thinner oktoberfest, slight diacetyl, caramel grains, slight mineral. Bready. It is okay.
