Black pour with white head from 12oz bottle at home. Roasty oatmeal and cocoa. aroma. Has a very sweet milky chocolate taste. Bread and malts, but really sweet. Nutty as well. Pretty good. wilnatp (723) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2014

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 9-29-14. Pleasant, simple aroma features scents of chocolate and brown sugar. Pours a dark brown with an amber hue. A small amount of beige head produced by the initial pour. A large amount of short-lasting beige head in the second pour. Basic appearance. Nice taste features flavors of char, dark chocolate, oatmeal, lemon, and coffee. Light to medium body. Somewhat lively and frothy in the palate. Ordinary palate effects. Overall, this is a decent and reasonably enjoyable beer, but it does not stand out in any way. Ericular (1044) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Pours dark black with small brown head and not much lacing. Aroma is a little chocolate , oatmeal, roast and slight coffee. Really not that good. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 12, 2014
12oz bottle, picked up from Brennan’s in Madison, Wisconsin during my stay for GTMW. Very dark brown red color. Thin ta head, that fizzes away to a thin ring. Few loose dots of lace. Good dark chocolate, oatmeal flavors. Some sweet chocolate syrup. Medium body. Kind of slick texture. Nice chewiness, and full feel for a 4.5% stout. Lighter, kind of soft carbonation. Moderate sweet taste, nice light to moderate bitter balance to it as well. Not too sweet for me, as this style can often be. Maybe the lighter gravity helps with that.

Dark brown pour. Thin quick head.
Aroma is decent roasted malt, coffee, bakers and dark chocolate.
Flavour is lightly astringent burnt malt husk, bakers chocolate. Coffee.

Pours a nice dark brown with tan head. Cocoa, roasted malt, caramel, and some oats on the nose; follows onto the palate. Very chewy stout. Delicious! sawbuck (792) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2014
Aroma of sweet chocolate, vanilla. Nice ebony black with a lighter tan head. Rich sweet roasted malt explodes nicely up front. Then chocolate, roasted coffee and vanilla flavors come through. Finishes with a nice hint of bitterness. Strong showing. barbarino2000 (108) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Wasn't expecting much from this, as it came in a variety pack with various craft beers, and the others were not very good. But it was a very solid oatmeal stout. I'd definitely buy/order it in the future.

Twelve ounce bottle from a Beer Of The (Every Other) Month Club. Almost opaque brown hue, medium tan head, zesty aroma of malt, chocolate, coffee and some oats in there, initial mouthfeel of too much carbonation followed by a sugery sweetness, then some prominent chocolate and coffee flavor that’s more like what the aroma promised. Rather nice brew.
