UPDATED: NOV 18, 2003 Bottled. Intense chocolate and kona coffee smell upon opening. A thin brown head with little lacing, but still dense enough that the last few drops leave a small ring. Sweet, creamy oatmeal texture with a milk chocolate taste, espresso, and a hint of plums. Nice and sweet, but a dry, sherry like finish. A delightful and complex beer from this otherwise obscure brewery. I found it at the brewer's hometown IGA for $6.19 a sixer, so it should get extra points for being a great Wisconsin-priced value.
Tap; pours black with a thin tan head; aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and a hint of coffee; taste is sweet with chocolate, light roasted malt, and hints of oats and coffee; finish is dry with some light chocolate and roasted malt notes Drake (13934) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2016
12 ounce bottle at Anodyne Coffee House, 9/19/16. Dark brown, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, oats and roast. The taste is chocolate, cocoa, oats, leather and a bit of a green olive note. Thin-medium bodied. StoutBeerReviews (172) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Really roasty, sort of dark chocolate burnt flavor. Very nice aroma, but for an oatmeal stout it’s not as thick/creamy as I would like. Low medium carbonation, but no head. Nice branding and style especially being wisconsin brewed GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 8, 2016
Tap at The Old Fashioned in Madison, WI. Clear cola red pour with weak foam. Nose of sweet cherry and prune. Licorice and cocoa flavor, richer body, slight oiliness. Very drinkable. BrewHaMeister (456) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 2, 2016

Sent to me by Strykzone. Pours h black with tan head. Nose of chocolate. Medium plus body. Flavor is a nice roast and the chocolate stays through the finish. Good beer. deyholla (11705) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 13, 2016
Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours a deep brown with dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of roasetd malts, dark grains and a bit of earthy chocolate. Flavor is similar with roasted malts and dark grains as well as a bit of chocolate. bubblehouse (1540) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 12, 2016
A bit sweet for myself but not undrinkable. A good dark pour with a light aroma. Drink again in a pinch That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - DEC 23, 2015
12 oz bottle. Pours black with red hues in the light with no head. Chocolate, ash tray and some acetaldehyde. Drinkable but pretty unpleasant. Itzjerm (2947) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Really this is that good. Perfect chocolate coffee taste and aroma. I could smell and taste this beer all day. Prefect mouthfeel for abv. Just perfect period. I would buy year round if near me. Purchased in bottle while in Wisconsin. Creamy sugar dark roast and mainly chocolate. Amazing.
