Bottle. Pours almost clear, light mahogany. Fair beige head that mostly dissipates. Aroma is wheat, banana, bread, caramel, mild spice, some dark fruitiness. Lighter full body. Soft and smooth. Some alcohol warmth. Balanced sweetness and toastiness. Tasty but not as flavorful or rich as the best. crossovert (14354) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2013
It is a dunkles weizen bock not a helles. Not specified on the label. Pours with a big a big tan head and distinct tan floaties into my aventinus glass. The smell is clove, cinnamon, and slight cidre. The flavor is spicy, lemon, caramel malts, slight medicinal. Its nice. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Clear mahogany with a thin brown helmet. Aroma is sweet with toffee, dark fruit, figs and toasted malt. Taste is sweet with toasted malt, graham, toffee, dark fruits, figs and cherries. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 29, 2013
Pours a dark reddish brown with a thin head of foam. Nose is sweet malt. Very creamy on the mouthfeel. The taste is sweet and flavorful with malt, maple syrup, caramel and figs/dates/prunes. Hops are very mild. Alcohol is well hidden. An excellent beer that can be enjoyed alone or it pairs well with sweet roasted nuts. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 10, 2013
12oz bottle thanks to nuplastikk: pours a transparent dark mahogany with a stringy lacing off-white head. Has a sweet dark caramel and malted wheat nose with some banana and clove notes. Starts with good fullness and malty sweetness with a touch of raisins and banana esters accompanied by doughy yeast before a drier slightly warming finish. True to style and enjoyable. Not quite at the level of Aventinus, but not that far off.

Courtesy of Skyview. Murky brown color with a small head. Massive banana aroma. Light chocolate and banana flavor. A bit of stale malt flavor, but not enough to kill it. brewsconsin (11) - - JAN 15, 2013
I was glad to see this at the liquor store because there are not a lot of commercially available Weizen-Bocks available and finding one from Wisconsin was a treat.
The beer poured clear with a small brownish head. It had a bit of banana in the aroma and flavor with a hint of cloves. I usually like Weizen-Bocks to have a bit more of that characteristic, but this one was decent. The beer had a good level of sweetness and tasted of dark fruits with a hint of chocolate. What I really like about this beer is how it made me feel warm inside without being hot. A great treat on a Wisconsin winter day!

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Bennan’s Market in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy dark amber brown colored brew with a heavy beige head that slowly dissipates to a cream top and excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, some banana esters, light chocolate and a touch of prunes. Taste is medium bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of citrus zest, banana esters, light chocolate and some light figs. Finish has a sharp bitterness at first and then a mild banana yeast and chocolate aftertaste. A little extra hops compared to most other Weizenbocks I’ve tried. nuplastikk (6651) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 10, 2012
12oz bottle. Unfiltered deep cherry brown/red...opaque. Attractive, lacy beige head. There are certainly a lot of dark fruit tones going on in this one, from pungent to sweet. Almost teetering on Belgian Dubbel some times. Rich, but not overbearing, there is a little heat in the finish. Raisin, prune, date, fig. Very nice, but not really that German of an overfeel to it.
