Pours lightly hazy copper / orange with a small white head. The aroma has lots of floral hops & no malt to be detected. Medium body (lighter than normal for the style though) with fairly sharp carbonation. No malt on the taste, all hops - this needs some balance to it. The hops are all floral and fairly sharp tasting. Finish gets metallic. Too one dimensional for me. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - AUG 3, 2006
Thanks to hopdog for the trade. Pours a hazy golden orange amber with an average off white creamy and bubbly head that left lacing and sustained. Aroma of sweet grapefruit, pine, various citrus. Very nice upfront hoppy aroma. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, some sweet maltiness hidden under a bunch of hop bitterness. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUL 26, 2006
12oz. bottle. Citrus grapefruit aroma detectable without putting nose in the glass. Copper body good white head and good amout of lacing. Good dose of ctirus hop flavor that is cool and crisp on the palate. Some lingering dry grapefruit for aftertaste. Arnie (274) - Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2006
On tap at Govnor’s Pub Brew Daze ’06. Wow. Hops. Almost too hoppy, but drinkable and full of flavor. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 3, 2006 12oz bottle. Bottle labeled Jan 11. Poured a medium and clear amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas of citrus and pine. Tastes grapefruit, pine, and a touch of carame. Tastes, like the body, a little on the thin side. Very lightly bitter.

Had this one on draught at Brew Daze 2006. Without a doubt, one of the finest IPA’s out there. Light orangy-yellow pour with a fine head, very pronounced hoppiness, with roses and apple in the nose, and one of the most potent, overwhelming bitterness of hops. Finishes smooth and clean. Outstanding. fuyajo (229) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 10, 2006
Pours to a small head; honey color. Very citrusy smell. Not much initial taste, but has a strong (but good) finish. Citrus, hops, and a lasting hoppy finish. A nice, lighter IPA. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 16, 2006
A little on the light side for an IPA, but tasty and refreshing nonetheless. It pours a pale orange body and a small head that still manages to do some fine lacework. The aroma is a light caramel malt topped with a solid pine and grapefruit hopping. The flavor, reflecting the nose, is very well balanced, the hop bitterness winning out in the lingering finish. A welcome addition to the Chicago area.heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 12, 2006

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2006 Thanks for the bottle, iowaherkeye. Poured with a medium gold body and a frothy off white head. The aroma is bursting with grapefruit and some light caramel. There is a lot of cirus in the nose. The taste has some bitter bread crust with grapefruit citrus behind it. A decent and fresh tasting IPA. TheDean (786) - MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 8, 2006
Looks and smells delightful. Hoppy goodness with a bit or a sour aftertaste. Not bad, but not the best.
