@GBBF2010. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is cheesy, spicy, apply and slightly alcoholic. Flavour is apples, some slight acidic notes, mild green apples as well as some slight cheesy and spicy notes. Also a mild nuttyness. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2012

Tap at Pigalle. Hazy gold with a small head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aromas of soft apple, pear and light funk. Taste is quite similar with a light bit of yogurt. Nice medium to heavy body with soft carbonation. Good apple on the finish with some light peach and yogurt. Very nice.

6 Sharp, slightly acidic aroma
3 Bold orange, hazy.
7 Massive sweet fruity taste.
4 Huge acidic bite
13 Two thrusts - sweet fruits and harsh acid - pulling in opposite directions with equal force; gotta love it!

Beautifully fruity aroma, packed full of riupe apples, blossom and a touch of woody bite. Touch funky, super refreshing, and no hint of 6% at all.
From a plastic barrel at the Great British Beer Festival, Day 4 on 6 August 2010 as Sandford Orchards Medium Cider but I think this is the same stuff. Orangey colour. Whoa. Big blue cheese in a sweaty sock tossed around in a farmyard full of cow shit. Very reminiscent of Gamle Ole - my favourite smelly Danish cheese - too. In short, a blockbuster of a nose that is great if you like that kind of thing. I do. Others might find it unpleasant. Very different character in the taste to the aroma. A little sweet on the palate with a fair amount of fruit and modest tannins. Pleasant enough but not as extreme as the aroma, or as demanding, or as rewarding. Most definitely a cider of two halves but still interesting and enjoyable.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 06/08/2010 (4 on the GBBF sweet/medium/dry scale)
Fruity aroma. Amber red coloured fruity and a little sweet on the palate with a slight tannin finish. biirusaikou (2705) - - SEP 29, 2015
Draught at Pigalle. Rich apple and pear with a light sour edge, honey, some funky notes, fairly sweet finish. Good stuff, a tad too heavy maybe.
