Clear golden in colour. No head, very sweet and fermented on the nose. Quite syrupy and sweet a little apple and a little pear. Not great.

Clear golden. Strong, but not quite as strong tasting as you might expect. The fruit is not very stated, but is evident. I got a fair amount of ginger in its aroma, but more so in its taste - not sure if I was supposed to or not.

Bag in the box six chimneys wakefield jdw. Clear yellow colour. Aroma is light pear drops. Taste is good sweet cakey pears some sign of alcohol slight warmth in finish. Still Nice body oily mouthfeel. Tasty stuff good body for cider.

Bag on a [email protected] bellwether, wednesbury. Golden perry, still. Aroma of dusty fruit. Taste is fruits, sugar, perfume and some pear. A little oily on the palate. Ok I suppose.

Keg in the George and Dragon, Dent. Pale greenish colour. Not particularly nice. Aside from the obvious pear notes it tastes of artificial sweetener with a bit of a bad bitter finish. Watery despite the strength. This was my first foray into the world of perry and it’s not made me want to return any time soon. It did improve after a few sips, but i still found it watery and lacking in flavour.

Pours an almost clear colour, taste is very sweet and of pears, not bad, abit too sweet for me

deyholla (11604) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 1, 2012
On tap at Bree Louise with Sarah. Pours a clear gold with a white soapy head that dissipates completely and immediately. Aroma has a nice note of light sweet pear with a nice crispness. Flavor starts with crisp sweet pear with a bit of underlying grass to add a bit of bitterness.

Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2012
Bag at the Willow Walk, JDW, London. Pours a very faintly hazy yellow with no head. Dank pear nose with some tangy fruits. Big sweet flavor with loads of ripe pear, straight sugar, faint zippy vinegar. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with faint spices and super sugary pears. Very one-dimensional.

Bag-in-the-box at The Globe, King’s Lynn
Deep blond color, flat. Very light fruit aroma. The mouthfeel is almost oily; it has more body than usual perries, with some light but fresh pear juice flavor; a bit woody, bitter and alcoholic in the end.
Just too hard cider for me, but not bad.
