On tap at the brewery. Cloudy, pale orange appearance with a fluffy, lingering white head. Aroma of citrus zest, herbs, spice and mild grains. Similar flavor, adding hints of banana and vanilla. Mild malt sweetness is balanced by a light zesty bitterness. Light to medium body. Not bad overall. anders37 (26251) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2013
Draft @ GABF 2013. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Has a fruity spicy wheat malty banana aroma. Fruity spicy wheat malty banana flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana finish. onceblind (9442) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2013
On tap as "Wild Pitch Hefeweizen", probably the same. Hazy gold with a thick foamy white head. Nose of wheaty banana and light perfumey clove. Flavor is light and crisp with wheaty yeasty tones, and an expected light kiss of banana and light dry cloves. Really dry throughout. Really by-the-numbers.

GABF 2013 (titled Wild Pitch Hefeweizen). Pours a hazy golden appearance with an off whtie head. Quite heavy phenols in the nose - banana, clove, vanilla and a fair amount of sweetness. A touch tart, lemon, banana, big bubblegum flavor. A little overdone in multiple respects, but not overly bad. notalush (5867) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Turbid gold - frothy head - nose is strong clove and white pepper phenols, along with some earthy, tangy wheat - low.carbonation, medium body - bubblegum esters are a bit high in the flavor, as is thr banana - I prefer drier, more peppery and clove-heavy hefes - it presents this in the nose, but only in the finish in flavor - however, still a solid hefe - way better than most American examples.

At GABF. Cloudy lemon yellow. Aroma of lemon & banana. Palate is smooth, a little thin and a little too sweet. Minimal finish. tmoreau (4301) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 7, 2011
Tall, competition swing top bottle labeled "Wild Pitch Hefeweizen", lightly roused, then poured to a Czech-pils glass with a hazed, light gold color, plenty of rising, effervescent bubbles, a bubbly, white head of foam that quickly diminished to a small ring and film, and left a modest amount of spots and streaks of lacing. The aroma was light yeast, light grain, ripe banana, and mellowed spice as clove. The flavor added to these a noticeable, but not overbearing sweetness. Lively carbonation and low hop bitterness combined to project a nice crispness. The body was light+, but not watery. Flavorfully sessionable! nickd717 (4648) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 22, 2010
On tap at Sandlot. Pours hazy golden-yellowish-orange with a small white head, basically looking like it should. The aroma is well-done if rather typical, with banana and clove notes, wheat, and fruity esters. The flavor is also standard wheaty banana and clove. A little on the sweeter side. Medium body and average carbonation. Really not bad for the style. If the BMC boys are going to do a "crafty" style well, this is probably going to be it I figure.
