For those wanting to quench their thirst but do it with a little less calories Sands Light has the same characteristics as Sands. A little less full-bodied beer and less alcohol, Sands Light is still classic gold in color with a pleasant crisp and clean taste.

In the summer of 2009 the Bahamian Brewery launched, and is now distributing in the Bahamas, its third brew SANDS LIGHT a light taste in a great beer.

The newest truly Bahamian beer has just hit the Bahamas beer market and is already getting rave reviews for staying true to its original taste while keeping the calories light.

Im pretty sure they just added sparkling water to an already watery beer. If you are traveling to the area, and want to try a local brew, stay away from this one. Its nothing special that you cant get with a more familiar Budweiser or Coors Light. It maybe a bit better, but not worth it in the end

Pretty much the same as Kalik light - nothing usually tastes the same like Mcdonalds joints. Golden pour from liquor store in New Providence.

My wife got this for me in Freeport, Bahamas. Pours a yellow/gold/lime colour with a small white head. Aroma of lemon, grass and light hop. Medium+ sweetness, light bitterness, slight sour edge. Light body, thin, quite high carbonation (all as expected). Finish is gassy, with lingering citrus/sour. OK for what it is.

Its a light beer in the Bahamas, so what did you expect? Refreshing enough if its cold enough. Pretty corny and watery.

Can - small foamy head, very pale yellow color, typical light lager aroma and taste - nothing special, but sure did hit the spot hanging out on the beach in the Bahamas! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the brewery. Very clear, pale yellow, large white head. Slightly sweet and corny. Crisp and refreshing tho. For what it is, it isnt that bad.

More or less the same as the regular Sands, maybe slightly thinner in body. Thats all I can pick out.

See Sands regular beer rating... not much difference with this one actually, other than the fact that it was a light beer and I figured it would be watery and unpleasant. However had good body and again a liberal happiness that added some flavor to this. Pretty good.

On vacation and from memory. I was extremely drunk and very hot. I spilled some on my poor pale ale Scottish skin and it felt great. Tasted refreshing at the time.
