Taste comprises roast malts, dried red berries, toffee, burnt biscuit, charr, pine, cocoa powder.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with balanced earhy hop bitterness.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton for the can. Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin and mellow malts, modest dark chocolate. Little esters and light pine. Modest hop spice and ripe citrus. Light finish. Easy going CDA.

Can at L42 - thanks to LKS. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweaty, sticky, toasted malt, burnt pin, greenness and charred wood. The taste is bitter - sweet, charred wood, coffee grounds, roasted malt, toasty grain, tar and liquoirce. Medium body and fine carbonation. Perhaps a bit raw. Not bad. Can shared in CANary Wharf - sourced from Mr. B's in Denver. Pours clear brown with a light, creamy topping. The nose holds nice ashy roast crossed with dry chocolate and orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of burnt wood, moderate floral hops, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Ashy bitter finish, with bittersweet cocoa, woody dryness. Good CDA.
