KyotoLefty (10207) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 1, 2008
Light yellow color, very bubbly. Aroma of pineapple, malts, and caramel. Relatively light bodied, with rich malts and decent hopping to go with the fruit. Not very sweet at all, and the light fruiting does not overtake the beer-like quality. Very well done, a great summer drink.

gyllenbock (9100) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 21, 2013
On tap at Ant ’n Bee, August 2013. Clear golden with a small white head. This was a light one with light hops, pineapple and some citrus. Also some notes of malt. Drinkable and nicely refreshing despite the light body.

TimE (5793) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 19, 2007
Deep golden color. Pineapple and caramel candy in the nose. Caramel and pineapple mouth, which as you might guess doesn’t really work. A little sweet and syrupy, but overall flavors just don’t mesh.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 7, 2007
Tasted @ GJBF Yokohama: Gold, light head and lacing. Nose of fresh malt and a blended pineapple note. Some clean fruit and malt flavors blend like sweet and sour. Good!

KansaiBeerLvrs (5098) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle from Asahiya. 5% served in a tulip. A clear gold with a thick foamy head, a nice aroma of honey, pineapple & grains. Medium to light bodied with a scratchy rough mouthfeel, I want my fruit beers to be softer. The taste is earthy, a bit rough with some pineapple. It is ok but I want it sweeter & smoother closerbyobthe common pineapple beer cocktail in Japan. As it warmed up it gave me a bit more of what I was looking for, more pineapple flavor.

shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 9, 2012
Draft at ibrew Ginza. Pale amber/gold colour, small white head. Aroma is pineapple sweets, bit of malt too. Taste pineapple, increasing further down. Quite malty. Bit of yeast. Slight hoppiness. Not bad and quite good on a hot day but not a mind blower.

willisread (3306) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 24, 2015
On tap at craft beer market jimbocho summer 2014. Served in a half pint glass. Clear golden pineapple yellow color with a small off-white head. Strong pineapple aroma with a hint of clover honey and mint. The aroma is much more pleasing than the taste. Slightly malty and earthy hops present with a rough bitter dry finish. Was expecting something different...pineapple didn’t really shine through much.
