COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sophisticated and dramatic, this ale brings out the poet in everyone. The deep brown color and remarkably clean finish make it an Old Town legend. Rich and malty, with hints of chocolate and nuts from Belgium specialty malts.

Even better than they dubbel down. This one was a hit, we even got a 2nd pitcher and had to get people to take the blonde for us so we could get some more of this.

Clear reddish amber hue. Grainy malty aroma. Malty palate, mild cocoa notes, dry nuttiness, fairly bitter bite in the finish.

Tap at brewpub. Pours brown with a fluffy white head, some lacing. Aroma is nutty and malty. Great balance between malt, nutty flavors, and the hops. Very well rounded. Medium bodied, left flavors hanging around in my mouth. Out of all the SBBC brews that I’ve tried, this is the best of the lot.

Smelled and looked great, but was a little watery in the mouth. Nice nut and caramel flavors blended together.

Very refreshing. Clean, nutty, malt taste with a creamy finish. Very little head. Deep appetizing color.
