Hoppy aroma. Beige head. Black and smooth on the palate with some alcohol present. A little dryness and bitterness in a crisp roast finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle:   Black, large pillowy light brown head, clumpy lacing.   Sweet roasted malts on the nose, lactose, oatmeal, a little chocolate.   Sweet malts on the tongue, very little hop bitterness.   Goes down easy, isn’t too heavy.   Sweet to start, has a bit of dry chalkiness on the backside.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Somewhat drops off quickly, but remains clean.   Decent little oatmeal stout.   Could use a little more umph tho. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Bottle… Pours clear and very dark. Sits black with a mid-size, creamy, beige head. Great retention. The bouquet is of milk chocolate and toasted nuts. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with tingly carbonation. Heavy notes of unsweetened, burnt espresso in the flavor – lesser note of cocoa. Lengthy, charred, medium bitter finish that leaves my tongue novocain numb. Bottle courtesy of giarcsr. Thanks ryan! nimbleprop (8750) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 10, 2010

Dark pour, light brown head. Ash, roasted malt, char, espresso aroma. Roasty and toasty flavors with hints of asphalt and cocoa. barn0216 (551) - California, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle, poured into 2014 San Francisco 49ers championship glass. Black in color with lots of tan foam. Creamy chocolate and roast smell indicative of an oatmeal stout, not very strong though. Coffee roast and bitter chocolate flavor. Packs a decent amount of flavor for what is a pretty light stout. Not a world beater but it is pleasantly drinkable. jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Bottle. Black with off white head. Nose and taste of flaked oats, roasted chocolate malt, chocolate milk and roast coffee. Nice roasted finish. Medium body.
