Santa Fe Freestyle Pilsner has a thick, white head, a mostly clear, straw, bubbly appearance, and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, pungent barley malt and grassy hops. Taste is of sweet, fairly rich, biscuit malt and grassy, slightly lemony hops. Mouthfeel is medium, and Santa Fe Freestyle Pilsner finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. At 5.5% alcohol, this beer gives you more of what you might be looking for in a lager. Sampled on 10/3/2012. This pilsner pours a light yellow gold color from a 12oz can. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, fruity, sweet and spicy. A medium to light bodied pilsner. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Nice soft carbonation. A very full mouthfeel for a pilsner. Bright, crisp and clean, very refreshing. A very nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

It's great, pours yellow, appears like a lager, tastes somewhere between a blond and a pilsner, doesn't have that harshness that you get with a lot of pilsners, not that different than mama's lil yella from OB

Can drank in LA - picked up in NOLA. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Pleasant notes of crispy cereal and biscuits in the aroma, hints of hay, lemon. Light-medium sweet flavour with low bitterness, more cereal, pale grain. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, more biscuits, lemon peel, light bitter straw. Really tasty pils. Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Courtesy of hellbilly. Can pours clear pale gold with white head. The aroma offers up floral hops, corn kernels, spicy hops and earthy hops. The taste is similar with floral hops and spicy hops as well as grainy malts and sugar sweet malts. Hmm. Good summer brew here. notalush (5955) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 20, 2011
Can - pour is clear, effervescent gold, with a thick, soapy lace - straightforward aroma of lightly sweet pils malt and spicy, grassy saaz hops, with just a touch of toasted grains from the hint of Vienna malt - simple and inviting - soft carbonation in the mouth - leans toward the German end of the pils category - moderately sweet, clean pils malt up front - gets a bit grassy through the middle, gaining a slight richness from the Vienna malt - the bite of the saaz arrives near the end and lasts through the finish - herbal and lightly spicy - a clean and mostly well executed pils - a tad sweet for my taste, but this may earn a spot in the BBQ lineup this summer.
