Wiping your rear with a pine cone is about as rough as camping should get. That’s why we invented this portable IPA in a can. A hoppy, refreshing beverage that goes great with campfires, bears, granola, and mosquito repellent. Happy Camping!

Can from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Saturday 14th May 2016 consumed at the Caravan Club campsite Cheltenham Racecourse the same day Warm dark gold, actually more amber. Thick in the mouth an IPA very much in the American mould, crystal malt, sweetish, fruits good hoppy blast, like it. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Small pour at First Draft into a tulip. A nice orange copper pour with a nice musty dank pine aroma. Medium bodied with a good amount of residual sweetness. This is a balanced ipa featuring woodsy pine bark/cone notes.

Can. Light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy with good fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light cream. Spicy marmalade and tangy tangerine. Traces of citric peel and tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish brings mild pine and hop spice. Not bad at all but was expecting a brighter IPA from the USA.

12 fl oz can, bought at Total Wine and drunk in a hotelroom in Las Vegas. But I was in NM in 2010 drank a beer of that brewery but wasn´t rating at that time. Pours out in the glass in an unclear dark orange, nearly two finger foamy head. Pine and floral hop on the nose. Taste starts with malt and resin, hopy bitterness, some floral elements and hints of citrus in the background. Really nice.

From Can. Amber pour with a big rocky off-white head that has crazy lacing and very good retention Aroma is some mild with caramel, pine and grapefruit. Taste was watered down citrus set in a caramel malt base. Palate is thin and weak. Finishes short and forgettable. Overall: meh, I’m kinda pissed I bought a sixer of this.

Sampled at American Beer at the Linq Mall in Las Vegas. Not really an amber ale, more like an IPA. Slightly hazy light copper with a thin white head. Some very slight hints of caramel, but the taste is dominated by American-style hops giving a taste of pine resin and grass. Dry and better finish. Not bad at all.

Solid brew, but it’s a little malt-forward for an IPA. Very sweet, and I couldn’t really pick out a ton from the hop flavor except bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2016 6 pack from Utah- thanks Carson! Totally west coast- pine is prevalent and somewhat overwhelming. Nice hazy orange pour with a white head. Slick/oily mouthfeel and pine/citrus all the way through. Bitterness about right. Ever so slightly boozy. Good, solid west coast style IPA. Has enought ipa-ness that one is plenty.
