Pint on tap. Clean-looking copper clear beer with light lacing and a small head. Smells of quality malt, plenty of aroma. Nice clean taste as well, with biscuit, caramel, and slight toast--light hoppiness. The aftertaste is the low point for me, with a bit of a lack of finish. Beginning and middle are full enough. deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 5, 2014
Can. Pours a clear deep reddish amber with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a large bread note with a bit of toffee and backing and a touch of biscuit. Flavor is more balanced with toffee, bread and nuttiness as well as just as hint of a grass note. yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2015

I had this at the Flying Saucer. Pours reddish-brown with a tan head. Taste Carmel, biscuit, nutty. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again.

Can pours deep amber with a finger of off-white head that fades quickly to a small cap. Aroma is mostly caramel. Taste of biscuit and caramel with a faint bitterness lurking. smaynard6000 (1167) - Apopka, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Pours a dark red with small white head. Aroma is subtle and sweet. Flavor of caramel malt balanced by some slight hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied with sticky mouthfeel and slightly bitter finish. Pretty good. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2013

Spicy malt, light dark fruit, some caramel malt, light toffee. Light bitter, moderate sweet. Hint of metallic, bit of spice. Lightly sticky in the finish. Fine red ale. 33 cl. bottle. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit, spice and caramel. unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - MAR 15, 2013
tap Aroma is sweet, of cream, sugar, and malt. Flavor features malt, candy sugar, toffee, and a strange skunkiness. Not terrible, but definitely on par with my (low) expectation
