Though it is not necessary to drink this beer out of a mug that is larger than your head while dancing to polka music and wearing your lederhosen, you will find this lager’s unbridled festivity difficult to resist. This ode to Germany’s classic fall lagers is as clean, clear, and quaffable as any that has ever weighed down the table of a German Beer garden. The crisp maltiness of classic Munich malt compounded with the delicious notes of Bavarian hops gives this clean-finishing beer just the right flavor for the end of the summer.

Shared 12 oz. can. Clear pale amber, minimal off-white head. Aroma of bread and malt. Taste is bread, malt, caramel, grass. Not bad.

Aroma: malty and bready; Appearance: clear amber pour with nonexistent head; Taste: clean and malty with bready finish; Palate: light bodied with short finish; Overall: acceptable but nothing exciting; wouldn’t buy again.

Dark gold to light Amber brew that was poured out of a CAN. Decent Oktoberfest brew that is pretty much the same as other Oktoberfest brews. Very chuggable but had to take off a couple overall points due to having to get it in the CAN.

A sweeter Oktoberfest beer. Malty. Don’t have much to say. Not the best Oktoberfest beer I’ve had but not a bad attempt. Like I said, fairly sweet.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2016 Classic oktoberfest appearance. Smooth and clean. Pleasant maltiness. Not much hop character. On the sweet side.

Pours a nice, translucent copper color with a thick, velvety head of orange tinted white foam. Looks good. Aroma is malty, carroty, nutty, cereal, touch of grassy hops. Taste is nutty sweet, bready in the middle, cakey in the finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Really nice oktoberfest.

Tasted at Kansas City Beerfest at Union Station October, 2015. I had so many that this rating might be a bit off. ;)

vyvvy (6574) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 28, 2015
Pours clear copper / orange with an off-white head. The aroma has toffee, caramel, mushy malt and bread. It has a medium / full body with low carbonation. The flavor starts with dry caramel, crackers, minerals and some sourness. The finish has a touch of spice and some butter. Fair.
