(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Pours a warm dark brown with a reddish hue and a dense light brown head leaving laces. Vinous aroma, vanilla and sweet malts. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel, roasted malt and vanilla accents. Almost no bitterness in the finish but quite some alcohol. 201008 Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2010
Bottle. Pours black with a creamy, beige head. Roasty aroma with good chocolate notes. Lightly sweet with plenty of dark malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. The malt character is a bit sharp and almost astringent. Finish is short with light malts and faint roast. Decent. harrisoni (19157) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2011
At GBBF 2011. Black beer lasting beige head. Roasty aroma. Tasty roasty toasty beer with a touch of juiciness and dryness on the finish. Lots of choc. Yep a decent beer. Lots of juicy choc. Ok
