Very pretty red tint with an off white head. Nice big hop notes but well balanced with a great malt addition to make this beer very approachable. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - DEC 20, 2008
I will be looking forward to this again for sure.
Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear copper color with an off white head. Light citrusy hops dominated the aroma. medium bodied with mild to moderate bitterness. Spicy malt and citrus/pine hop flavors accented by a nondescript earthiness. Best of the lot I sampled at this brewery. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 15, 2008
Growler shared by Bockyhorsey at our recent tasting - Pours a clear mohogany color with a thin off white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is a little odd. I got dust, candy, and veggies. Flavor is sweet malt. Has a sharp bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Worth a try. Thanks Bill. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - OCT 8, 2008
Sampled from growler at Tucson Tasteing. Aroma was of malts more of the english variey. Good amber/red body. More english malt with some picey bitterness. Alright but not like American Pale Ale to me anyway. edmajorjoe (80) - Vail, Arizona, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Mahogany translucent appearance. Limited or faint scent of pastry flavor. Palate is above average. Overall a nice tasting beer.

reddish brown color with a light beige head which remains as a film. refreshing floral aroma of caramel , orange, light grass and pine-like resin. dry floral flavor as well... notes of caramel, earthy bitterness and some soap on the finish. there’s a strange component... really ashy and astringent feeling that reminds me of chewing peanut shells and skins. it’s rather unpleasant and throws everything off for me. rusty (1547) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2008
