Roasted coffee, one of the best most refreshing things in the world and one of my biggest vices. Beer, stout and coffee all in one deal. Man this is one of my regular reasons for going to santan every time they have this beer available. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Had this poured from tap at SanTan brewing in Arizona. Dark brown almost black pour. Minimal head. Total flavor- chocolate, coffee, slight malts. Good shit JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - DEC 13, 2012
On tap at Papago, black pour, under carbonated, so will likely need to re-rate. But some good coffee aroma, but lack of carbonation threw off the taste. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Dark pour with a foamy head. Lots of coffee and roasted malt in the aroma and flavor. Unfortunately, not much else. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 20, 2010
On tap @ 1702 - (On nitro) Pours a dark brown color with a small, fine creamy light tan head that lasted awhile. Lots of fine lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt and coffee. Dry finish and soft mouthfeel. Very nice.

on tap at papago 4/7/2010.
clear. reddish version of brownish black with a soft creamy tannish head.
it smells of old coffee grounds, caramel, roast and some vanilla... not much happening over the original(base) beer aside from more pronounced coffee.
the flavor is equally as unexciting... watered down truck stop coffee, roast, vanilla and a sour lactic finish.
light thin bodied with a watery mouth feel. it is very hollow... feels like it is missing something... 6/3/6/2/12/2.9 daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 6, 2010
This is their Gordo stout with starbucks coffee. Also on Nitro. Aroma is loaded with coffee. Actually smells and tastes more like coffee than beer. I really enjoyed this. The addition of coffee to an ok stout and made it very good! Must be a coffee lover to enjoy this one.
