On tap - Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Nose is grapefruit and pine with a clean malt base. Taste is the same with some nutty malt and a herbal hop finish. Big and fluffy body...thinnish. Real tasty.

12oz can. Hazy, caramel color, good & adhesive. Slight aroma, not too strong - "homebrew-y" aroma, finishing hops. Tastes remarkably like my homebrew, as well. Sort of a standard pale ale, but nice and full-bodied with a pleasant aftertaste - I can’t rate it below what I’d rate my own stuff!

Can at Salt River Field in Scottsdale. Grapefruit and caramel. Light bitter finish. Well balanced and easy to drink. Tasty.

From a can. Clear copper, splotchy white head. Smells hoppy, citrus and green, a bit floral. Taste is citrus, some bready notes. Maybe some off, stale flavors, too. Not bad...

On cask at the brewery, pour is a cloudy orange with a faint grapefruit and funkiness in the aroma. Taste has a decent upfront hop character with some light citrusy notes. It’s fairly good.

On draft at the brewery, amber pour, citrusy aroma, and a little sweet and hoppy on the flavor. This is west coast pale ale and it is fairly good.

Had this poured from tap at SanTan brewing in Arizona. Amber pour with creamy head. Mild hops. Good citrus and floral notes. Easy drinking and possibly session beer

Draft. Clear copper with a small white head. Aroma of toast, citrus and herbal tea. Flavor of toasty malt, bitter hops and light fruity yeast, very well balanced. Medium body with average carbonation. Really nice beer, really drinkable and a great finish.

Stephan picked a can of this up in AZ and brought it back for me. A really nice, aggressively hopped pale ale. Similar in character to a Dale’s Pale, though lacking its balance. Pine, citrus, and dirt.

4oz taster 12/29/12 (Copper Blues PHX)-Pours a light amber with a nice tan head. Aroma of hops, caramel, and malt. Taste of hops, malt, amd more hops. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty.
