An amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with nice light floral hops, decent. In mouth, a light caramel malt with smooth floral hops, light grapefruit, OK. On tap at brewery.

On tap at the brewery. Brilliantly clear copper with low head and decent lacing. Low hop aroma, moderate malt/caramel aroma. Flavor is mostly toasty caramel malts. Hops play a supporting role. Great mouthfeel. Always look forward to this one when I’m in AZ.

This beer is everything that I would want out of a west coast pale ale. Hoppy but not to much so. Citrus flavoring on the nose. Strongish beer with a nice mouth feel.

On tap at Girmaldis pizza-very tasty APA. Nice citrus aroma..hop flavor over the nose, citrus and caramel finish. Definitely one of my favorites far as an American pale ale goes. Will definitely drink more of this...

I think this is my first Arizona beer. Thanks stephenhawking for the nice local extra in a can! Pours a clear orange almost amber with a 2.5 finger head. Smells of caramel malt and a bit of citrus. A bit more malt than I expected from an APA. A little bit of citrus followed by caramel and biscuit malt. Finishes with just a light bitterness. Nothing complex about this, but no off flavors either Mouthfeel is a touch thin and carbonation level is medium. Good beer. Lacks a tick in flavor, but it’s a good drinkable beer. I could definitely see grabbing some of these for the golf course if they were readily available.

yngwie (17074) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 19, 2013
Can. A dense, off-white head forms over a more or less clear dark golden body. Fresh aroma of orange, pine cones and generic citrus, leaving the malts in the back. Rather thin on the palate, with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Bitterness, pine cones and orange peel in the flavor. Bitter, orangey finish. A bit weak on both aroma and flavor, but overall, a tasteful and pleasant beer. 130819
