COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This yellow ale is a refreshing favorite often served with a lemon or orange slice. Wheat yeast gives a HefeWeizen it’s unmistakable Banana/Clove character which also pairs remarkably well with many different foods. 13°

The Dan Journal #475. Tasted 5/21/11. 12oz Can. Pours filtered with a golden hue. White ring of head. Aromas of citrus and mild honey. Medium bodied with a slick body and a nicely bitter palate. Rounded flavors with a nice profile. Flavors of cereal grains and mildly tart red berries. Honey-ish and mild. Nice summertime swillin’

tap at brewpub-hazy lite orange hue with a small whispy head. banana, clove, esters and grains on the nose-nothing special here. grainy flavors with some overly ripe banana flavors (the huge esters here). not overly complex but decent on a hot AZ day!

Can: The aroma consists of banana, citrus, and light clove. It pours a hazy golden orange with a one finger white head that fades quickly to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. It’s nowhere near cloudy enough for a Hefeweizen. The flavor starts with banana, light bubblegum, and a touch of caramel. The finish has mild citrus and a touch of clove. Medium boided with somewhat fizzy carbonation. Overall, drinkable, but a little on the light side of a Hefeweizen.

Can from scrivvv’s mom. Nice. Aroma of wheat malt, oranges, light banana. Pours hazy orange golden, fizzy head. The flavor is wheat malt, soft fruity notes - oranges, lemons, a hint of banana. Easy to drink, unoffensive. Decent.

On draft over a couple different days at the Wild Horse Pass Resort. Pour was hazy straw golden color, full body appearance, nice carbonation, excellent lacing all the way down. The aroma was full fruity banana esters and phenolic cloves. The flavor followed, full body and a tad on the sweeter side like a Franziskaner. Actually, this was a great stateside hefe, second only to the SN Kellerweisse (bottle)?

Straw color, hazy, thin head. More banana in the nose than standard Hefe. Crisp and spicy, a bit sharp but that sharpness dissipates quickly. Hint of orange here (could be residual from the slice they put on my glass).

(12oz can). Pours cloudy yellow with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma has yeast, wheat, banana and clove present. Taste has a sweet malt with a bit of hop bitterness. Thin bodied with oily texture. Finish is smooth. This is a very easy to drink beer and I’ll be looking to pick up some more as the temps climb here in Arizona.
