Well done, straightforward hefeweizen. Moderate aroma of wheat and yeast. Flavor is smooth, standard hefeweizen, with old world yeast. Slight banana hint. From a can into a frosted glass, we lemon added. I’m liking this brewery more and more, especially its Devil’s Ale.
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2018 Draft. Gold in color with a white head and lacing. The aroma is banana and wheat. Nice. BeerandBlues2 (14027) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 15, 2017
Can at home. Pours hazy orange with a medium, creamy white head, long retention. Aroma is moderate grainy wheat malt, banana esters, light citrus and spicy hops. Flavor is medium grainy wheat malt, lightly sweet citrus, light spicy hops and banana esters with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. TylerGreenDC (1129) - - APR 23, 2017
Draft. Aroma of unripe banana. Flavors are sweet and tart banana and faint OJ. String wheat presence on the finish, which is nice. mybrainhurts (400) - North Dakota, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Wheaty, hard fruits, with a summer fresh aroma. Flavors of bananas, spices, wheat and yeast. Very refreshing and a good example of the style. mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2016
On tap at SanTan, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out bananas and clove, smelling like an authentic hef. Flavour brings out lots of bananas upfront, followed by clove and dry wheaty notes. Dry finish, with lots of banana esters. Decent.

A glass full of sunrise with a decent froth on top. Initially, the aroma and flavor are characterized with citrus and wheat notes. Eventually, banana notes appear and grow prominent. Full-bodied. Solid. ClarkVV (6963) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 3, 2016

Rather clear deep orange colored beer with a beige ring of bubbles that immediately dissipates.
Orange and tangerine fruitiness in the nose is rounded out by light clove and pepper. Low on the banana/bubble gum and really quite low all around on the German hefe qualities. Seems borderline American wheat-like. Malts are bready/biscuity with a touch of dry toffee and perhaps a touch of alcohol, though otherwise fairly clean.
Lightly carbonated and mostly dry, with lots of citrus, a bit of breadiness and corn sugar. Vanilla and some sharper, odd notes that I can’t put my finger on (maybe a touch of glue?). A bit of banana and mostly clove. Watery, quite drinkable. Like the Moon Juice from these guys, it’s certainly drinkable beer, but there are some elements that are a bit undesirable (texture, carbonation, aroma, overall freshness).
Jensen Beach, Fl - Total Wine - 12 oz can, Slight haze, slight sparkle to the medium golden pour. Soft white head, traces of lace. Bubble gum and clove in the aroma. Coriander, banana flavoring, a touch of bubble gum in the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Not half bad. bytemesis (9516) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 27, 2015
Tap. Pours cloudy yellow, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is definite clove, banana, lemon, yeast, wheat. Flavor is light sweet, minimal bitterness, all of the above plus a hint of bubblegum, more citric than some. Medium body.
