COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American Brewers have re-defined this traditional English Ale with an intense bitterness derived from the distinct citrus/pine character of Pacific Northwest hops. A dry, crisp malt character and aggressive alcohol make our I.P.A. a Hop-Heads Passion. 16.5

Can to glass. Pours a clear amber color with thin yellow head. Aroma is mango, pineapple, tropical fruity hops with a faint bit of caramel malts. Taste is not a hippy as the smell, light citrus and pine notes. Moderate bitterness, and a solid malt presence. Finishes dry. Ok. Palate is medium body, medium carbonation. Overall, an average IPA with a good aroma.

Amber brew with a strong grapefuit aroma. Taste is about like drinking grapefuit juice. After dranking this one for a while and my taste buds began to adjust for the massive acidic citrus flavor I began to notice a mild pine flavor in there. I love grapefruit so naturally I like this beer. Plan to buy this one again.

July 1st Sunday. Can reads that this thing is close to two months old. Wow - would love to try this thing fresh. Great smell of tropical fruits, mango and citrus. Taste was quite as potent but still nice tropical, even keel malts, citrus.

Can - Light orange with a small head. The first thing I noticed was the bready taste of crackers (in a saltine sort of way). Has a piney hop backbone and pretty dry.

Pleasantly suprised by this one and thanks to Britt for opening it at the end of a pretty decent tasting session. Tropical hop aroma profile wafts a ways past the glass. Nice and fresh seeming even though the can says it is a month old. Great aroma that comes through pretty well in the flavor as well. Clear orange color. Really nice.

Was surprised to this rolled out in Houston. Snagged a sixer of cans. Didnt expect much. Poured it, checked the date on the can, over a month old. Expected even less. Took a sip. WOWZA. Pours clear copper. A clean, strong dose of resin with a lighter body and notes of apricot or mango. Not much citrus in this one, but its near perfect for a single IPA in my opinion. Up there with Sculpin. After drinking most of the six pack over the past couple of nights my opinion remains the same. This is a great offering and will immediately replace my previous go-to from local brewery Karbach, who recently changed their Hopadillo recipe to make a darker more malty IPA for who knows what reason. Bye bye Hopadillo, hello Hop Shock!!
