Draft at the source. Slightly hazy yellow color, thick white head. Light straw aroma. Taste has subtle pineapple. Subtle. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - JAN 19, 2016
Twelve ounce can from my beer Advent calendar my sister-in-law made for me. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a foamy white head that completely disappears within the first minute or so. Zero lacing remains on the glass. Aroma has some Belgian yeast notes. Flavor does as well with notes of clove and a hint of pineapple in the finish. Tastes a tiny bit like a Belgian trippel minus the high alcohol. swanmann (777) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Poured from 12 oz can: slightly hazy brass color with an inch of off-white head, dissipating after a couple minutes with no mentionable lace; nice pineapple aroma, with a bit of booze and cereal; nice fruit sweetness with a tart touch, and typical wheat brew flavors; lively carbonation yet the mouthfeel retains a bit of creaminess, it finishes with a mild bitterness and caramel. It’s tasty. bulldogops (2726) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 2, 2016
Rating #1533 - 19.03.2015 - On tap at Coronado. Was expecting a cloudy Hefe. Pours a hazy straw yellow, bubbly white head. Aroma is fresh pineapple juice. More pineapple juice on the palate, but there is a weizen type quality. Review notes use "Doleweizen". A bit one-dimensional. Xevious (78) - Amarillo, Texas, USA - DEC 14, 2015
Honestly a lot better than expected!
Pours a dark yellow with a fizzy head. The can is what grabbed my attention because it looks cartoony and quite frankly more like a juice can than beer. Smells beery and had a light dash of pineapple. Tasted a LOT better than expected. It’s essentially beer with pineapple. Finishes smooth with a pineapple bite, gets sweeter as it warms.
Overall? WAY better than expected, but it’s probably the last I’ll see of it unless they make a 40oz.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy, dark golden yellow color and topped by a small off white head of foam that quickly fades away leaving little lace. The aroma shows notes of grains, wheat, citrus, and maybe a hint of pineapple. The flavor follows with the wheat and grains up front followed by sweet pineapple juice on the finish with a touch of hop bitterness. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation that leads to sweet, fruity finish. As it warms up it gets a touch too sweet. Not bad for a hot summer day. tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2015 Not a good scent, decent flavor, slightly yeasty, not a lot of pineapple flavor.
Update. I have tried this again and it is not like I remember. Now tasted like a Belgian Hefeweizen with a bit of pineapple flavor. Not bad this time around.---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2015
Draught at Coin-Op Game Room, San Diego. Hazy orange beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity beer with fresh natural pine apples, grapes, mango, peach, some tangerines. Fruity pine apple flavor, msngo, peach, tangerines, wheat bun notes, some caramel. Fresh beer. Homer321 (5166) - Melboring, Florida, USA - OCT 28, 2015
Can to glass. Nose is initially very grainy, very wheaty. Moderate esters but I would necessarily have picked out pineapple but definitely tropical and fruit cup. Pours a hazy pale orange to dark yellow with a small white head. Taste is moderately pineapple flesh with a grainy wheat flavor. Light bitterness. Some pineapple sweetness comes across as it warms. Overall ok. I prefer the river town pineapple much more. bt3680 (32) - - AUG 31, 2015
