Mr Pineapple was conceived for SanTan Brewing Company’s annual Luau day here in Downtown Chandler. Fresh pineapple is added to our Wheat beer during fermentation to add a refreshing tropical flavor to an already sweet and fruity ale! The pineapple is balanced with a firm malt character and a slightly spiced hint of clove. Mr. Pineapple is highly carbonated to make it a quenching and refreshing ale for our warm Arizona climate.

ABUSEDGOAT (2759) - California, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Hazy golden color, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is wheat, pale malt, lightly fruity. Medium to light body, pretty typical, I don’t taste any pineapple.

weihenweizen (3826) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can, canned on July 19, 2014 from blutt59, poured into a weizen glass. Slightly hazy deep golden with two finger fluffy white head which disipates fairly quickly. Aroma is mostly grain, medium body, medium/well carbonated, and little big bubble lacing. Taste is pretty rich esters, fruity, and clove. I would imagine this is crushable even in the heat, subtle, but interesting different.

Big old spicy yeasty hefe aroma full of clove, banana, bubble gum, and pineapple. The fruit comes out a little weird, but this is one tasty quaffable summer brew.

canned, golden yellow with soft foam, nice pineapple aroma, flavor is pineapple, some grapefruit or citrus, smooth balanced fruity finish

Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate sweet pineapple, citrus, and faint clove. It’s a mostly transparent golden-orange with a touch of haze and a small white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with light-moderate sweet pineapple and banana. The finish has light clove and a touch of orange peel. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

Can to glass. Nice summer brew. Grass and pineapple in aroma. Taste is sweet with carbonation. Goes down easy. Different.

DrunkSanta410 (940) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Can on a hot day. Aroma is wheat, grains, citrus, pineapple. Smells decent. Taste is a sweet, fruity wheat beer. Almost too sweet for my taste. Get a bit of the wheat notes, and hints of pepper and spices. Good on the palate. Good pool beer, had from the can.

dlihcsnatas (745) - Temple, Texas, USA - AUG 4, 2014
Slightly hazy yellow with nice head that holds on for a while. Was expecting a pineapple overload but was happy not to get that. Only a small hint of pineapple in the aroma and only a small amount in the taste wich made this one very enjoyable on a hot afternoon. Other than the mild pineapple there is the destinct flavors of wheat and clove that is expected from this style of brew. Good stuff that I plan to purchase again.

dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Pour hazy orange with a small white head. Wheat and spice with an undercurrent of pineapple. Really could use a bit more pineapple.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 30, 2014
On tap at Zio Carlo. Hazy yellow pour with a big white head. Aroma is light banana, pineapple, and citrus. Taste is tart, peppery, wheat cut, and almost floral.
