Crisp and refreshing, The pineapple is very apparent in the nose, but not too overwhelming on the palate, great on a hot day! redmtn1 (1) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - DEC 17, 2016 does not count
Overall very good wheat. Maybe a notch higher than Shock Top. Add orange slice to finish beautiful aroma and taste dlihcsnatas (745) - Temple, Texas, USA - AUG 4, 2014
Slightly hazy yellow with nice head that holds on for a while. Was expecting a pineapple overload but was happy not to get that. Only a small hint of pineapple in the aroma and only a small amount in the taste wich made this one very enjoyable on a hot afternoon. Other than the mild pineapple there is the destinct flavors of wheat and clove that is expected from this style of brew. Good stuff that I plan to purchase again. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAY 7, 2013
For what it is and aspires to, a good beer. Surprisingly clear pour, with some tropical fruit smells wafting up. Good wheat-style taste, with fruity tropical flavors (presumably pineapple). Sweet lingering malt. Had this on tap last year, and this strikes me as the same as that. A good, lower ABV fun summer beer, with solid taste that is not as light as I was fearing.

On tap at Tommy Bahamas in Scottsdale. This is a great hot summer day beer clean crisp and refreshing finish. No need to add any additional fruit it has it all built in. Some he as can be bitter but this one is not. Great compliment to seafood.

Pours a nice hazy straw golden color with white head. Pineapple, wheat, and tropical light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a pineapplely raw wheat note. Nice. DMLINAZ (332) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - APR 27, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2013 Sample from a can at Total Wine beer tasting class on canned beers. Surprisingly good; I?d like to try more of this. I expected pineapple to overwhelm but I think it mixed well with the wheat style. Pineapple is present, of course, but seemed natural. Update: had a can of this (poured into a glass); enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I have mixed feelings about fruit beers but this is refreshing. A friend had a can and said he could barely finish it but I rather liked it. Probably Wouldn?t want more than one in a sitting, however. Update: I had a can poured into a glass. I’m a fan. San Tan is becoming my favorite AZ brewery. wildbeercat (356) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 16, 2013
12 fl oz / 355mL can into a Sam Adams glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Delicious crisp pineapple! Mildly sweet aroma. Subtle spice package backing it up.
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark yellow with a sudsy white head that lingers quite a bit.
Taste: BAM PINEAPPLE! Goes really, really well with that spice package. Delicious delicious delicious.
Palate: Crisp, refreshing. Pretty short finish. Light, but not watery. Definite character.
Overall: The perfect beer for hot summers here in AZ. Cans make it pool-lake friendly, so that’s a definite plus. Try it with a slice of pineapple! Fantastic! teamrunkle (381) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2016

I didn’t like this beer 2 years ago. It wasn’t good at all last year. It is REALLY good this year. Man, that is like a carbonated pineapple juice. Mr. Pineapple makes for the perfect summer beer. Cheers to the team at SanTan Brewing.
