UPDATED: AUG 15, 2013 Sample from a can at Total Wine beer tasting class on canned beers. Surprisingly good; I?d like to try more of this. I expected pineapple to overwhelm but I think it mixed well with the wheat style. Pineapple is present, of course, but seemed natural. Update: had a can of this (poured into a glass); enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I have mixed feelings about fruit beers but this is refreshing. A friend had a can and said he could barely finish it but I rather liked it. Probably Wouldn?t want more than one in a sitting, however. Update: I had a can poured into a glass. I’m a fan. San Tan is becoming my favorite AZ brewery. wildbeercat (359) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 16, 2013
12 fl oz / 355mL can into a Sam Adams glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Delicious crisp pineapple! Mildly sweet aroma. Subtle spice package backing it up.
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark yellow with a sudsy white head that lingers quite a bit.
Taste: BAM PINEAPPLE! Goes really, really well with that spice package. Delicious delicious delicious.
Palate: Crisp, refreshing. Pretty short finish. Light, but not watery. Definite character.
Overall: The perfect beer for hot summers here in AZ. Cans make it pool-lake friendly, so that’s a definite plus. Try it with a slice of pineapple! Fantastic! teamrunkle (382) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2016
Heavy Carbonation. Nice tropical nose. Refreshing. Cloudy. From a can in Phoenix. rickyleepotts (104) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 14, 2014
I didn’t like this beer 2 years ago. It wasn’t good at all last year. It is REALLY good this year. Man, that is like a carbonated pineapple juice. Mr. Pineapple makes for the perfect summer beer. Cheers to the team at SanTan Brewing. Cavie (4805) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Tap at T&P. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a light head. Aroma is wheat, light fruit and tart notes. Very tingly over the palate. Nice pineapple flavor balances well here. Sweet finish. Good.

Cloudy golden with large pollowy white head. Dusty hop aromas, maybe Czech, Belgian yeast, fruit esters, apple, phenols, a touch of clove, pineapple, creamy and spritzy texture. A bit high in alcohol for session but thirst quenching. With high acidity for rapid absorption. Pretty and nice on a hot day. BelgianBeerGal (4158) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Draft at Yard House and Ground Control. It seems to me that everyone who rates this from draft really likes it and the canned ratings are lower. Moral of the story: drink it on tap if you can find it. A nice base wheat ale that has buckets of pineapple in it. Real pineapple flavor and not like they just dumped a bunch of chemical flavoring into it. Very refreshing. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Tap at the brewery. Rating #29. Hazy golden pour with a nice white head. Nice aroma, plenty of pineapple and wheat. Flavor is similar, more pineapple and a light aftertaste. Good stuff. (2757) sungsays (7) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 11, 2014 does not count
Picked this up as a single can with a few others at Sunset Beer Co. Couldn't resist the cheesy graphics, and also I love pineapple. This tastes like half beer half Dole pineapple juice. High carbonation, and smells great when you pop the can open. Lots of head & a fun hot summer day beer.
