From notes. Enjoyed at Abu’s house after Fury for the Mayweather – McGregor fight on August 26. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a darker golden yellow with a thin ring of off white head that lingers for a bit before dissipating without a trace. The aroma is good. There is a tartness about it before the wheat comes in. A light citrus zest also is present with a hint of juiciness. I do get a little bit of a funky grape must toward the back. I don’t know if it’s oak aged or not, but it’s quite dry. The flavor is much of the same. The tart citrus and wheat work well together with a nice juice and a generally clean overall balance. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a brighter carbonation and a lingeringly tart and wheaty finish, with just a touch of citrus. This one is pretty good. 7 4 8 4 15
