(Sample @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours a very pretty salmon-pink. Nose is brightly fruity, with raspberry prominent as it tends to be but not overwhelming the underlying layers of tart cherry, black sweet cherry, cherry pit, lemon, oak, and moderate dusty funk, tart but not sour. Flavour is raspberry, black cherry. Flavour has a nice mix of raspberry, cherry, light lactic sour, underripe peach, white wine (and grape), softly mineral, oak is present but has a nice supporting feel. Dry fruity finish, moderately crisp. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation, the nice mouthfeel SARA beers tend towards. While the fruit is clearly present, it feels supporting rather than dominant like a fruit beer. More of a saison with extras. Very nice.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours reddish/amber with an off-white head. Aroma of strong berries and cherries, some light tartness, pale malts, hints of oak. Flavor the same, but I think the cherries make this less enjoyable for me than I would expect a SARA beer to be. Average texture. A cool beer, just not my favorite from them.

Palme (4817) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 9, 2017
On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. This one has a blurry almost watered down orange color and on top a small kinda white sidesticking and islandy head. Smells strongly of vinegar and wood - blended with red berries. Cherries and sour raspberries. Nice stuff. It has a really refreshing and quite acidic thing going on in the taste. Feels nice and oily in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation. Dryish and woody in the taste. Strawberries and mild raspberries. As mentioned quite sour this. Sour apricots in the finish. Liked it a lot. 14.05.2016

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - APR 30, 2017
From bottle at Dangerously Open Bottleshares. Pours a murky reddish orange with barely any head. Aroma has raspberries, stone fruits, light cherries, macaroons, subtle acetone, light tannic oak. Taste is sour, much more brett and saison yeast present in the flavor, super dry, a bit spicy. Super crisp and a rather low but fizzy carbonation.
