On tap at City Beer, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very pungent, with notes of herbal hops, pine cones, and a bit of Belgian yeast - very inviting. Flavour is similar, with notes of pungent herbal hops, pine, and biscuity malt to back. Extremely pungent on the hops, with a medium astringency. Awesome IPA. bytemesis (8236) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Tap. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head that dissipates quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is citrus, dank, yeasty, passionfruit, Brett perhaps. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, a bit of funk, mineraly, zesty, yeast with just a touch of Brett, earthy. Medium body, creamy, quite nice overall, but the finish is a bit harsh. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 16, 2013
A - pours hazy apricot with a low run of head with sticky lacing. S - piney and citrus zest, resiny and a little musty. Nice. M - medium body, nice high carb. Nice blend of the funk and bitter. T - funky tropical fruity citrus hopy rolls right into a musty lightly funky malty end. Pineapple and grapefruit. O - nice rounded blend of a farmhouse and a pale.4.0 Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Growler with friends, courtesy of Felipe. Thanks man!. Pour is slightly hazy yellow with a small white head and decent lacing. Big funky, dank, citrusy, fruity, lightly grassy, pineapply, and bretty aroma. Taste is big weed, citrus, grapefruit peel, lemony, grass, and pineapple with a light bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with medium-to-soft carbonation. Really nice brett IPA. illidurit (2327) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Growler. Pours clear good with a white head. Really bright acidic fruit aroma, heavy pineapple and unripe orange, some grassy herbal tinges. Flavor is much the same, very bright, dense hop oils, orange juice, slight passionfruit.

On tap at the brewery. This is incorrectly listed as a porter, but is actually an IPA. Aroma is dominated by dank hops with moderate grapefruit and lighter pineapple notes. Light phenolics and cracker note. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium thick white head. Head recedes fairly quickly to a light film then lingers. Medium light lacing.Flavor is similar to the aroma with a medium light cracker malt note. Medium dank hops with medium high grapefruit citrus notes. Medium light pineapple. Light phenolic note with medium strong bitterness. Bitterness hits me as a bit harsh. Finished nice and very dry.Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low hop stringency and low alcohol warmth.Overall an alright beer but the hop bitterness is a touch harsh. I think I was expecting a fruity Brett beer, but this is definitely on the dank side. arminjewell (9585) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Pour out of growler, big thanks to Stephen! Hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, hints of brett, slight dank notes in there, into pine, grass, slight earth, nice. Taste is a mix of white fruit, nice dank, piney notes, hints of cat pee into some grass, finishing sweet, dry, slightly funky. Very tasty. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 3, 2013
On tap @ Sante Adairius. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Huge pine, grass, and orange peel hops. Really pithy. A light funk, some bread, and white pepper. Interesting. Flavor is sweet bread with subtle tartness and moderate bitterness. A lot of orange, pine, and grapefruit. Hints of fruit, some white pepper, funk, and lemon peel. On tap at City Beer. It pours yellow with a white head. The aroma is nice with lots of Simcoe-like hops. Spice, pine, weed and citrus. The flavor is big time dank weed with some pineapple and nice background notes of earth and peppery yeast. Strong bitter finish. Very light malt character with a crisp body. Great farmhouse Saison/IPA. birdmachine (226) - Oakland, California, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Full pour at the brewery – reviewed from notes. Aroma has a fair amount of pineapple, must, dough, hay, and finally a dank resin bite on the exhale. Cool mix of tropical fruit, funk and earth. Pour is hazy golden with small bubbles that linger around. Taste follows aroma, with hops being grapefruit forward, citrus rind, pineapple and brett funk. The funk works nicely with the fruit and leans toward a lemon finish. Body seems a bit thin, with medium-high carbonation. Aftertaste is doughy with some astringency, but light hop bitterness. A pretty nice farmhouse IPA that hits the funk and fruit notes in the right spot.
