Saison Bernice is an exquisitely fermented farmhouse ale. Dry and refreshing Bernice is made of the freshest on-hand and locally available ingredients. She saw multiple yeast additions including Brettanomyces and further bottle aging. Drink now or cellar properly. Saison Bernice will endure. The beer in this bottle is alive. So is the yeast. Grow it, keep it, use it. We encourage you to brew your own.

Some florals. Light grapefruit and done green onion. Hazy orange pour. Tangy finish. Orange and some spice. Good stuff but a little overhyped like spice girls reunion. Thanks to Bytemesis.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 20, 2017
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Hazy bright yellow body. White head. Nose of citrus/lemon, pencil sharpener, floral, porridge, malts, grain... fruity and grainy... Flavour is light tart and citric lemonish, crisp and thirst clenching, light dry, hay, light funk, light malty... Aftertaste is light citric lemon, crispy malts/grains, light dry, light cardboard ish... Low to medium carbo, light watery mouthfeel, medium bodied. Decent Saison, yet the nose and aftertaste are a bit off. Flavour is good! Still, nothing beats Dupont!

[email protected] taproom: pours golden cloudy with foamy white head. Aroma-flavour: funk, grapes, notes of tropical fruits and citruses, crisp, bready, wheat-like malt notes. Finish is dry, astringent and tart, body is moderate medium/medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is moderate.

4.4
tapefuzz (624) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 31, 2017
750mL bottle at Hill Farmstead, Greensboro Bend, VT. Pours cloudy yellow with a large, fluffy white head. Aroma is tart lemon, yeast funk, some grass, and a good amount of wood. Taste is similar; sour lemon and lots of funk, filled out with the addition of wood, some hay, a little white wine grape, and a touch of lime. Somewhat reminiscent of a gueuze. Clean, dry finish. Light/ight-medium body. Smooth carbonation. Creamy, pillowy mouthfeel. This one lives up to the hype.
