Big white head doesn’t last. Clear yellow body. Faint grainy aroma. Sweet grainy taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, faintly mealy mouthfeel. Sweetish grainy strawy aftertaste with fruity notes. Not at all bad. As industrial, straightforward lagers go, this is about as good as it gets. Lata. Clear golden, medium white head. Aroma of some malt and hops/grass. Flavour has a fair (mild) maltiness with some grass, mild to medium bitterness. mtitov (185) - Moscow, RUSSIA - MAR 29, 2017
Обожаю Японски& лагеры! Даже не смотря на то что большин& продает& в банках! Heidbummer (680) - SCOTLAND - SEP 25, 2016
Can. It’s Kolsch lite really. But it tastes fresh enough (no metallic tang at least). If they had just been a little braver and made it slightly hoppier and a tad sweeter it’d have been decent. It does however have no aroma of any sort, and is thin for the abv. Better than many mass produced lagers. Oakes (17813) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 28, 2016
Only in Hokkaido you say? Score! Pretty clean, has a very touch of hop spice, not much bitterness. Basic, well-made for an industrial lager.

Tapped out gold. 6ºSRM.
Nose is sour and beery.
Mouthfeel is sudsy. Smooth and pleasing and very approachable in all the most pedestrian and safe ways I can describe the palate on a beer. This is the entire point behind national lagers like Sapporo. To this end, this beer is entirely successful and does it very very well. Palate has water biscuit. Sweet pale barley malt, maybe crystal malts. Just enough traditional hop to balance all this sweetness.
Clean finish. nausicaaonacids (50) - PORTUGAL - JAN 15, 2016
Average pils beer, golden color and light taste, light on alcohol as well. Had it both on bottle and can, not much difference. kyzr (1570) - Montana, USA - JAN 6, 2016
Pours clear gold with small white head. Grain sweet nose. Flavor is much the same, with little to no hop. Finish is sweet. willisread (3380) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Can from Ito Yokado. Drank straight from the can. Light grain and corn aromas. Fairly sweet on the palate with some light grain. Don’t get much malt or hop character. Light Kolsch-like fruit flavor on the finish. Kinda gross to be honest. chibichan (3) - JAPAN - SEP 13, 2015 does not count
Sapporo Classic straight from the can in Akita, Japan. Crisp and light. Good as an after meal drink or cool down drink on a hot day. Easy to drink.
