not bad, not great, id say average, i expected it to be worse, drinkable, and worth trying.

Nice golden lager color with an aroma similar to a fresh unlit cigar. Taste a little better than most american mass produced classics, but nothing great here.

I really didn’t like this beer because it had very little taste. The plus is you can have tons of it and not feel anything. Not much as far as taste and enjoyment are concerned.

Gold color, white head. Smelled a little skinky. Mild sweet and crisp.Good regular brew.

IslandHaole (1268) - Misawa, JAPAN - NOV 20, 2004
A clear medium gold color with a thick off-white head. Has a ’bail of hay that was left out in the rain’ smell to it. A mild hoppiness that gives way to a mild sweet malt flavor and then fades again with a short lived bitter follow. A decent macro.

You know, not too shabby. Nice full bodywith light-moderately dark lager appearance. Decent head with clean full taste. Had with shushi and vase of sake. Complimented nicely. For people who drink bud or miller (and the like) Drink this as alternative.

I did’nt know what I was getting into to. But I must say I liked it enough to buy it again. Crisp taste, serve best cold.

Really can’t understand the other ratings. Those guys must have been very thirsty. Very bland, nothing to recommend at all.

wasn't sure what to expect from this. pleasantly surprised. very crisp beer. reminded me of budweiser without the nasty aftertaste. it starts out bitter on the tongue then fades out nicely. went well with dinner.
