Only in Hokkaido you say? Score! Pretty clean, has a very touch of hop spice, not much bitterness. Basic, well-made for an industrial lager. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2006
Bottle, 4.7%. As Sapporo Premium Lager. Golden colour, small white head. Grainy flavour. Medium bitterness. Standard lager, no worse than most others. imdownthepub (15525) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2009
Tin, 500ml in a Chinese Restaurant in York. Yellow gold with fizzed white head. Firstly its great to seek out an unexpected rating, it takes the edge off even bad beer, and this is bad. Corny with wet cardboard notes, super cold to cut through the hot spices. Time and place I suppose. Lubiere (14262) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 30, 2009
Golden lager with a thick white head. A crisp malt aroma with grainy notes and German hops. In mouth, a light biscuitty malt with german hops, a bit oily in mouthfeel. Medium bodied. 500 mL can fshared rom probstk, May 26 2009. thewolf (12949) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2006
Golden colour with a steady white head. Quite some taste to it, despite my initial scepticism. A nice hoppy feel and still quite malty taste.

Lata. Clear golden, medium white head. Aroma of some malt and hops/grass. Flavour has a fair (mild) maltiness with some grass, mild to medium bitterness. KyotoLefty (10810) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 3, 2009
Brewed in Hokkaido, and only available here. An all-malt lager. Light golden color, usual. A nice, full-malt, slightly sweet aroma. Fruity with decent hops in there. Very fruity, slightly sweet, full malt flavor, with decent hops. Pretty nice tasting beer. Better malt flavor and fruitier than Ebisu, with less hops than it has, but still ok. It is reminiscent of Sapporo Black label, but lighter, hoppier, and with the a full malt taste. Not bad at all for a regular ¥207. gyllenbock (10034) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 21, 2013
Can in Tokyo, August 2013. Clear golden with a medium white head. Weak and boring with some bread, malt and light citrus. douglas88 (9797) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 22, 2008
Can brought from Hokkaido, Japan by a friend. The beer says it is only available in Hokkaido, but others seem to have got it in the US. Either way, it’s a decent lager; smooth and crisp. Drinkable, but not amazing. Glad I had it, thank you Masaki San. jonas (8280) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2009
Can. Not much aroma. Pale yellow, collapsing head. Actually ok mouthfeel, sparkly and chewy, grassy hops on straw malt. Quite ok.
