When the style is "premium beer" you know you have problems.. A: Light aroma. Lager yeastiness. A hint of lemon and malt. A: Looks... cheap? Head retention is nothing. Color is a light yellow orange. T: Tastes light. Like water. A hint of maltiness. A hint of yeastiness and lemon citrus. P: Light... like soda water. Overall not the worst macro I’ve had but not the best. And it’s still a macro.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2018 Easy drinking and light. Small step up from US mass market beers, has cleaner or crisper taste.

@ Izumi Antwerpen. Generic lager, dull and blunt. Metallic with some sweetness and bitterness. Yawns...

12 oz bottle (labelled as Sapporo Premium Beer) into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip on 11th Jan 2018 while on holiday in California. Clear golden pour, wispy white covering for a head. Never seen this version in the UK, so bought this when I saw it here in Orange County. Grainy nose and taste, on the sweet side throughout. Actually after playing on the beach with my grand daughter for two hours at Dana Point this fits my needs nicely, my sweet tooth liking the sweetness and I not wanting anything too bitter or challenging to drink.

This is the North American brewed Sapporo, 22floz can, no date, $2.75, pint glass. This straw colored beer with a white head has an aroma of wet hay, which is much in line for the style. Tastes like cereal floor grains with a mineral quality. Pretty well composed as a pale lager with a light-medium body.

bottle @ supermarket (budapest) pale yellow colour, normal body, average carbonated, malty, yeasty, bread, lightly bitter, easy to drink, nothing special just an average lager beer

Sapporo Draft - 12oz can, one of the primary servings on cross-Pacific flights. A bit bolder than the Suntory Malt’s, definitely more crisp. Maybe that’s what happens when you put a draft in a can. Never really understood that seemingly conflicting marketing scheme. Draft in a can? Bottled beer in a can? Session IPA? Not the first nor last time marketers will defy logic in attempts to steal the attention of beer drinkers. What’s next? Session malt liquor? Clear porter? Flavorful American lager? The pills are really kicking in now as well, very forgetful. Is that the main way these relieve anxiety? You just forget everything? When they talk about not using drugs to escape reality, funny how the drugs prescribed so often seem to do just that, while the drugs we take recreationally more often intensify reality (at least the drugs i take recreationally). Overall not a bad beer, but not good enough to stop me from ordering a wine next time. The second in flight movie is almost over (did not note which one it was, so good luck ever remembering that 90 or so minutes now). The point is, time was passed, words were written, and at least this will not be forgotten.

Metalik koku, çok düşük asitlik ve köpük. Son derece su içeren tat. İçimi çok kolay ama kofti.

I poured it from the can into a glass. It pours a bubbly golden with a white head. The aroma is corn and grain. The taste is the same with some sweetness. It's pretty clean. There's nothing offensive about it. You can do worse.
