33cl bottle. Quite typical pale lager, but personally I like the dryness of it. Basic.

@ Budapest, Ramenka. Aroma is slight malty grain. Poured light golden straw with OK head. Mild bitterness followed by a thin grainy finish. Meh.

0,33l bottle. Clear golden colour with slowly shrinking white head. Aroma: Hay with roasted rice. Taste: Has a quite malty moderatly sweet start but the lack of hoppy caracter a bit strange. With some time a light bitter mouthfeel comes in. Has a soft buttery texture. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Short evading bitter finish. Better than the average pale lagers.

Sampled this time from a 12 oz. bottle but I like the really cool tall can. Lifted into a tall, handled beer glass with a light to medium yellow body and good carbonation giving a thin long-lasting top. Smell of corn and not much else. The taste is grain and bread. Just a touch of sweetness. Rather dry on the end. A good summer drink I think, served very cold. A pale lager, what do you expect?

Got to love the large bottle size but not much other than that. Pairs well with the poo poo platter if you know what I mean.

Not interested in clocking up ticks, promised myself Id only rate the really good ones. However, since theyre so widely available in Taipei, and since I actually worked in Japan for five years, Ill rate this one just for fun. A small can from Jasons in Guting, rated back-to-back with Sapporo Yebisu. Aroma: weak, yeasty. Appearance: clear light amber, pours a good head, settling to 2-3mm. of dull foam. Palate: light-bodied, thin texture, flat carbonation, nothing going on. Taste: lightly bitter, but only just. Predictable, fun on the beach, or with yakitori. Merry Christmas!
