4.5 is light for a Japanese beer. I get malt and mild citrus. It has a foamy light mouth feel with a grassy finish. I have really got into my all malt beers as of late but this doesn’t compare to the Premium Malt’s or indeed Sapporo’s very own Yebisu range. Not a bad beer for the summer but overall unspectacular. faroeviking (11343) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 14, 2013
Lata. Thin golden clear colour with a good medoum white head. Malty aroma with hops (bit citrus like). Ok mouthfeel. Flavour of malt and hops (mild citrus) and grass. Mild to medium bitterness. Ok tasting brew. Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 2, 2013
Can at Room, Shinjuku Prince Hotel. Clear golden - white head. Hay, sweet hay notes, light malty, citrus, light light bitterness, light floral notes. Bland/plain. maekchu (4104) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 26, 2013
Can. Mild sweet aroma, with an extract notes. Light straw color, frothy head. Very bland sort of malty initial / a bit of tang and sweetness in mid / light bitter traces and metallic notes in final. Thin-medium body. Not really terrible. But seems to be on the edge of happoshu characteristics.

Can. Pale golden color with a high, tight head. Malty nose, light citrus. Bland but not bad. Malty flavor, light, some citrus and peppery hop. Rather plain, but ok bitterness. Light and clean, decent enough for a lower alcohol major though nothing special.

Highly alcoholic tasting for 4.5%. Really bland and lifeless. Malt, malt and maybe a single hop addition.
