Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body. Grassy herbal aroma with perfumy fruity notes. Jasmine, too, perhaps? Dry-sweet jasmine taste with apple and straw notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy herbal aftertaste with jasmine and apple notes. Quite nice, but nothing special. (0.35l can, I think from a shop in Tokyo Station.)

Can. 2011-2012 version. Hay, some mild pils-like malt. Very pale straw, clear, slow steady carbonation, with a very light frost of head. Flavors of mild malt with just a tinge of hops. Very tiny aftertaste, which melts away as fast as sleet in the spring-time air. Not really bad, but not very interesting. Another J macro seasonal -- without much seasoning. Might be better in summer.

2011-2012 edition Smuggled back in my sister in laws suitcase, thanks Terry! Pours a crystal clear golden color with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly despite the constant stream of carbonation bubbling up from the bottom of the glass. Pretty weak aroma, light grainy malt with a hint of toast and a mild sweetness. Taste is grainy toasty and sweet just like the aroma promised. Finish is fairly dry but leaves a lingering sweetness on the tongue. Spirited level of carbonation, light body with a lightly sweet bubbly mouthfeel. Really nothing special or objectionable. Its not bad, in fact I have had macros that are much worse. I could drink this if I had to.

Can of the 2011-2012 version. Did not start new listing as it’s the same ABV. Piss weak pale yellow with big white foaming head. Nose is very grainy (husks, barley grain) and a slight lemon aroma. Taste is strange. Sort of sweet perfumey lager. Very weak and light bodied and too carbonated but it’s got a touch of spice to it, beyond the grassy dry lager taste. Pretty horrible.

Can 330ml. @ PBF 2011

Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted - caramel, dark malt - spicy, something ! Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110702]

Can 330ml (PBF, BB 06/2011)
Golden color, small white head. Grainy and grassy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. A bit glueish, sweet malty and a bit apple fruity flavor. Not much winter here.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 2, 2011
Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, some sweet malts, mild honey as well as quite hayish notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild resiny notes as well as some

Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2011
Can at Papsø’s - Thanks to me. Clear golden - white head. Caramel notes, sharpness, sweetness, grainy notes, light fruity notes, light roasted notes, hay, light hoppy. OK.

Ungstrup (39108) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 23, 2011
Canned. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel as well as a light note of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and metal, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks Theis for sharing.
