From old tasting notes. Hazy yellow gold color. Big bubbly white head. Sweet malt aroma. Crisp dry malt flavor. Zippy and refreshing. yenbeer (188) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 17, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2015 2014: Not dissimilar from the regular Sapporo, it’s fairly void of flavor but much easier to drink than the worse majors.
2015: Still very close to the regular Sapporo, but now with alcohol ramped up to 6%. Too sweet to make a session out of it though. douglas88 (9795) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Another can thanks to the wife. Bought in Adachi-Ku. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. A sweet grainy, husky nose. Quite clean and mostly smooth; huge adjuncts, corn and rice, some staleness. OK. Capa (3623) - DC, Washington DC, USA - OCT 31, 2007
2007-’08 edition. Clear golden with a small fizzy head and very active carbonation. Slightly sweet malts, though the aroma is is severly lacking. Smooth, but niticeable carbonation. UPDATED: FEB 8, 2007 pretty ordinary for even for macro...no aroma, watery taste...really reflects nothing about winter what so ever..pointless jdjuice (502) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - OCT 26, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2007 Ew. Looks normal. Tastes bad. The most different tasting ive had out of all japanese light macro brews, but the difference is this tastes a lot worse than the others. TBone (18558) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2006
Can, 2005-2006 editionEmil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 10, 2005
Pale yellow, good creamy white head. Arom a is malty and kind of sweet yeasty. Light-bodied, watery. Some grass hoppyness, bitterness in the finish. Only a picture in the can reminds about the winter. There is possibly beer in this, it has just watered down.
Golden colour with a small white head. Corny aroma and taste. Light body and a sweet finish. Bad! Jeppe (2634) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - APR 5, 2005
Pale yellow, fizzy white head. Grain and maize aroma. Sharp rancid unripe flavor with maize notes. Not good.
