mile (4005) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 17, 2017
Can. Very dark brown, small to average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint chocolate with faint fruitiness, light hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel, light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty dryish - lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint roastiness with faint chocolate, light - some hoppyness. OK schwarz from big company with notes of roastiness and chocolate - not too sweet.

Piepenhenrich (597) - Steinbach, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2017
Reasonable dark/black beer and a good alternative to the standard Japanese Lagers.

BBHansen (951) - Køge, DENMARK - APR 30, 2017
Tap @ Tokyo beer museum. Appearance: pours clear dark brown with good beige creamy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, chocolate anmd some light floral notes. palette: medium roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium to notable malt sweetness, somewhat balanced by an average bitterness, medium duration and a watery texture. Overall: pretty decent schwarzbier

faroeviking (11025) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 22, 2017
Lata. Deep dark brown colour, medium beige like head, bubbly. Sweet plesantly roasty malty caramel aroma with some light chocolate dark fruit to it. Roasty malty caramel flavour with dark fruit, bit coffee and chocolate, medium bitterness. Nice.

PanMarek (462) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2017
Opaque black pour with quick beige foam. Roasted malt in the nose with whiff of coffee. Medium body, moderate fizz. The hops are faint in the taste, but manage to compliment the dark malt. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Labeled as Sapporo Premium Black Lager Sampled at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2017.

Scipio (1147) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2017
Pours a deep brown with a full, smooth beige head. The aroma is mild, with coffee, roasted malts, and bread. The taste is slightly bitter. It has strong smokiness, coffee, roasted malts, ad some lighter chocolate and cola. Smoky aftertaste. This one is medium in body, with a thick texture, and has average carbonation. This is pretty good as long as you enjoy the heavy smoke.

hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2016
On tap. Poured a dark brown color with an off white head. Roast, lighter coffee, and some earthiness.

TimE (6000) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 8, 2016
Light brown head. Dark brown color. Not much nose but the mouth has a nice sweet maltiness with good amount of roastiness. I detected some dark fruit and caramel notes. Modest acidity below the sweetness. Very approachable.
