Bottle. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Mild malty aroma and taste with notes of herbs and hops.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger soapy white. Good retention, somewhat persistent head. Nose prety generic and boring. Rust and corn. Grainy. Not special in any way, despite what the label says. Everything else pretty much follows suit. Thin to medium body with average carbonation, soft on the tongue. Regular texture. Bittersweet taste with a bit too much metallic acidity. Aroma also quite generic. Dominated by corn, followed by grains and metal in the background. There’s a faint note of earthy hops in the aftertaste, but it could be my imagination. Bitter, metallic finish. Overall, pretty generic macro lager. Unspectacular, boring and - at least here - way overpriced. Meh. Bought it for the rating purposes only, I don’t see myself buying this one ever again.

Gangstergafje (1104) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - FEB 11, 2017
The beer has a pale golden yellow color. The beer is crystal clear. On top of the beer a frothy white layer of foam is formed. The foam retention isn’t very good. After a while not even a drape of foam remains. The smell is simple. I smell some clear malty aromas. There are also some sweeter malt aromas. I smell some mild maybe floral hop aroma’s and a tiny fruity yeast touch. It is all a bit weak and shallow. The taste is the same. Simple malt flavours and a simple hoppy bitterness. The beer has quite a good bitterness. The palate of the beer is also simple. Medium body and carbonation, and a bit dry to the tongue. The finish is hoppy and fresh, but short. All in all, just a thirst quencher.

Aroma has apple, caramel, marzipan, pale bread. Off white head, pale golden clear body. Taste of hops, apple, caramel, light bread - light bitter finish. Normal feel. Overall a decent lager, with some hoppy notes during the whole tasting. [50cl.swingtop btl, brought by Susa, 4.9% BB22.03.17 [email protected]]

0,5l bottle. Pours clear golden with nice frothy white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is strong malt and grain with plenty sweetness and some herbal hop notes. Taste is mostly malt with rather unpleasant citrus bitterness. Carbonation is lively, aftertaste is slightly metallic with quite long lasting bitterness. I had this beer a couple of years ago and it was better then...

Bottle. Very typical boring lager. The taste is slightly bitter but in a bad way.

klukas (268) - Rijeka, CROATIA - JUN 16, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2016 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into a flute glass. Appearance: Light yellow, with short-lived foam. Aroma: Gentle aroma of hops, citrus… Palate: Light, thin texture, watery; low carbonation. Taste: Light sweetness, but moderate bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Pleasant, light, very drinkable. But too much expensive (at least the price at which I bought) comparing to some other beer. There are much better beer for the same price. Edit: Re-rated from 2,9 to 3,1 - I had it few more times, and everytime it was enjoyable.

Koelschtrinker (20242) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - APR 3, 2016
