loco_gallego (217) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 16, 2014

Lowenbrau (4276) - Asturias, SPAIN - JUL 26, 2013
330ml bottle. Some fruity and tart aromas. Pours amber, a bit hazy, with frothy off-white head, gushing. Medium body, overcarbonated, crispy texture. Taste is hidden by carbonation, some tart notes, fruity ones, some caramel,. Dry finish. Poor.

dexcansino (574) - Andalucía, SPAIN - NOV 23, 2012
En la etiqueta pone IPA pero es amber ale. Color caramelo. Espuma frágil. Muy suave de sabor y demasiada carbonatada.

Courtesy of Yespr, 5.5% ABV, batch LT12/001, bb 02-13
Cloudy amber color; small frothy head. Some aroma of caramel, dust and apples; baking yeast. High carbonation; vulgar caramel flavor, with a strong presence of yeast; ordinary bitterness.
Seriously lacking of filtration.

Odd when brewers don’t quite understand beer styles themselves. Despite being labeled an IPA, this beer is much more of an amber ale with a sweet, almost scotch ale-like aftertaste. The aftertaste is the best part to this, long and spiced. Otherwise, this beer is borderline bad. Aroma is sour and nondescript. Taste is bland. Not impressive.

madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2012
Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma: Caramel, sweetness, flowers, light roast. Flavour: Caramel, herbs, sweetness, Cocoa, light roast. Medium bodied. Ends caramelly. Vaguely bitter.
