Poured from 12oz bottle into a Sam Adams Glass. Part of a 6-pack sampler.
Labeled as Saranac Adirondack Lager.
Appearance: Very nice copper color that’s clear with some carbonation visible. Pours a small, slightly off-white, soapy head which disappeared quickly. no lacing.
Smell: Mild roasted malt, some slight hops. very mild
Taste: You get some mild malt, some sweetness mid way, ends with just enough hops to have a clean finish. Decent carbonation
Drinkability: Very easy drinking light to medium body, very smooth. perfect beer for a summer night.
Overall: Nothing off putting. Some good flavors. Better than the macro lagers. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - FEB 18, 2014

The appearance is a pale amber colored body and gave a one finger white head that appeared for a minute, fizzled and died. A fair amount of rapidly rising carbonation was seen all around. No lacing was left.
The smell has a light graininess with some background hops. Some malts came out.
The taste is grainy yet had a slight citrus going on - kinda weird, but that was what I noticed.
On the palate, its about a light and slightly creamy, somewhat sessionable.
Overall, this was an average German pilsener. I’d have probably have it again depending upon what else was served. bfremgen (6) - USA - DEC 28, 2013 does not count
A very drinkable summer lager. It has a really nice color, and a nice, clean aroma. A simple beer.

6/19/2011. From bottle. Cloudy amber color with a white head. Caramel aromas with malt and light fruit. Caramel flavors with a light hoppy finish. Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - NOV 30, 2013
From the bottle . Hazy amber with white head. Better than the commercial mega brewery lagers. But not anything too exciting.

Somewhat cloudy light amber beer with a thin white head that dissipates quickly into a surface film. Slightly pungent nose with hints of sour dough, orange, and light malt, but overall the aroma is slight. Flavor is a bit bolder and is dominated by a single note of medium citrus hops with little else. The body is pretty good with tight bubbles, and it’s smooth, but unfortunately it’s also boring and non-descript. Decent beer, but not one I would ever seek out again. ads135 (4587) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 6, 2013
Surprisingly decent vienna lager from Saranac. Mild, mellow, and malty with a medium body. Nice mouthfeel. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Light amber pour, mild head and lacing. Aroma is semi malty and grainy. Taste is malted caramel and dry. Decent lager. Easy to drink, light. Patrickctenchi (6547) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Hazy amber, short off-white head.
Taste is slightly tea-like, a little bitter-leaning fruit....
But, not offensive, just a bit unexciting.. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle pours a clear amber with a small off white head. Scent is caramel. Taste is sweet caramel with a touch of hops.
