6/14/2011: Saranac Adirondack Lager... Aroma: Bready malt with a bit of floral hops, toffee, timid fruitiness. Appearance: Nice amber-copper color with a respectable beige-colored head. Flavor: Average, well-bleneded amalgamation of malt and hops without anything necessary jumping to the front; just a bit of fruity caramel malt, biscuit, and just a kiss of hoppiness; mild to moderate bitterness; finishes slightly dry. Palate: Overall: Much better than expected from a "lager" as this is more like a nearly full-flavored ale with just the right amount of hops for the style (more like an Amber Ale or weaker English Bitter).
12 fl. oz. bottle from Kroger in Harrison, Ohio. Rating #715 for this beer.
bottle at this casino marked Adirondack Lager. medium amber, fizzy cream colored head. nose of cereal malts and faint toast. light flowers on the finish. body is medium, mealy and chewy at times. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle from Shawn. Thanks! Light amber pour with a white head. Nose is rather seltzery. Some grain, grass, and toasted bread. Mild yeast, soap, and a hint of floral hops. The flavor is really just fizzy and abrasive. Seltzer water, grain, floral hops, and grass. Light toast, soap, bread, and yeast. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 14, 2013
355mL with Eye of the Sponger custom label thanks to womencantsail via BlackIPA. For real, there is a SpongeBob on this official beer label. Pours a sparking clear amber with medium off white foam. Spotty lacing. Nose is honey, sweet cherry, sugar, more of a fake dish soap cherry. Taste is soapy, honey, wheat bread crust. Soapy and dry palate with a suddy hydrogen peroxide thing going on.

Bottle from Mim’s Northfield MA. Light amber body with thinnish head. Nose is malty, fruity, sweet. Taste is also of caramel, malts and fruits. Some hops in the bitter finish. Okay. Nothing special. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Bottle @ home, courtesy of BLACKIPA!!!!!! EYE OF THE SPONGER!!! FUCKEN A BRO!!!! Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Toasted malty, caramel, fairly dry, herbal, lightly grainy aroma. Lightly fruity, caramel, a touch nutty, mildly hoppy flavor. Cool name, not so cool flavor. Cheers Michael James! j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Bottle. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Sweet old malt on the nose with some plum and old stone fruits behind it. Medium bodied, a bit of alcohol peeks through, which is odd for something so low in ABV. Spicy malt with a bit more sweetness and caramel. Lingering light bitterness with old fruit. Not good. The final in the series of >5 yr old beers from my parents basement. No cellar gems found here. Pours a golden orange with no head. Aroma is fruity. Tastes slightly crisp but no hop character at all. Flat.

Not sure if it was too cold or what, but the bottle spewed when opened.... After it settled, pours copper, no real nose just a hint of German pilsner. Body is full, bitter and malty with flavors orange peel, caramel and pilsner skunk. Not impressed...
