COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our original award-winning Saranac beer is brewed in the German Lager tradition using Noble hops. We balance the hop bitterness with caramel malt sweetness, creating what we like to call a round beer.

Light golden amber. White head is mostly diminishing, a lil lace. Sweet caramel, light floral/fruity nose. Caramel sweetness first, medium to light bodied, clean slightly bitter finish. A decent amber, one of Saranacs better known, better brews. Mediocre, decent, not bad.

Nice light easy drinking amber although its a little stronger than it tastes. Pours well, nice golden red appearence. Certainly not the most flavorful amber Ive had but their is enough sweetness and bit there to make this a good amber for the price.

decent head with some lacing. nice amber (as the name states) color. quite a malty aroma. detected more bitterness in the flavor than sweetness.

Nice color, but really has no discernible flavor. Ive certainly had better. Fairly good head, for a weak beer.

Clean amber (duh!) color with a thin off-white head. Very sweet malt aroma, almost chewy. Caramel flavors with a nice roasted feel followed by a snappy finish.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2005 A very beutiful amber color and an OK beige head. The aroma is nicely malty with some notes of brewing mash. It tastes malty sweet with light fruitiness and nuttiness. The end is somewhat dry with nutty notes.

Good Clean mouthfeel. Great Amber ale. Nice flavor, beautiful in the glass. Definitely one Amber that I can stand. Smooth aftertaste. Very nice.
